Welcome everyone. A bit of history (mine and from Vietnam)

Hello everyone there. I am a spanish guy who has been living in Vietnam for nearly 2 years. This is my first blog entry ever, so don't blame me for the format if it looks ugly :-).

I would like to share experiences and a few more things here, mainly because my friends, and especially my family, are far away, at around 10,000 km.

I live in Saigon right now. The war lasted for 20 years (from 1955 to 1975) and many, many civilians died. It's considered the most bloody war after the I and II World War. This city was taken by the north at the end of the war in 1975.

Last week my friend Alberto Moreno shared a very interesting link about the end of the war. This chapter of the war shows when Saigon was taken by the North of Vientam.

This is a a link to the documentary, in Spanish, from that time, that was broadcasted by RTVE the 9th of may of 1975. Enjoy it!
